OJO, Amos Olusola, a detail-oriented pharmacist, is an astute health management consultant, a renowned labour unionist, and a distinguished community leader.

Pharm Sola Ojo attended Aquinas College Akure from 1978 to 1982, where he was given a double promotion in 1978, sworn in as the first clerk of the Students’ Representative Council (SRC) in 1981, and made the Library Prefect of the 1981/82 session. Today, Aquinarian Amos Sola Ojo doubles as the Worldwide Chairman of Aquinas College Old Students’ Association (ACAOSA) 1977/82 Set and Chairman, Ekiti State Chapter of ACAOSA.

He obtained his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree in 1987 from the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He has a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and he is a member of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists.

Professionally, Pharm. Sola Ojo, a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), worked assiduously as a health management consultant pharmacist during the Petroleum Trust Fund-assisted intervention programmes to win the Best Pharmacist Award in South-West Nigeria in 1998. He later ventured into clinical pharmacy practice where he rose to the position of the Head of Department of Pharmacy and Director of Pharmaceutical Services, Project Director of Drug Revolving Fund, Chairman of Drug Therapeutic Committee and Chairman, Hospital Business Ventures all in Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH), Ado-Ekiti until his retirement.

Com (Pharm) Sola Ojo, former Chairman of Joint Health Sector Unions (JOHESU), former Secretary of the Trade Union Congress (TUC) and former Chairman, Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Ekiti State Council is currently the Chairman of EKSUTH Union of Pensioners.

Pharm Sola Ojo, a Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria, Chartered (FSMc), is happily married and blessed with godly children.
