Prince Adekunle Anthony Oyekanmi was born on December 21, 1963, in Lagos Island to the late Mr. Humphrey Bamidele Oyekanmi and Mrs. Josephine Omolara Oyekanmi. He began his early education at Holy Cross Catholic School, Lagos, and completed his secondary education at St. Thomas Aquinas College, Akure, in 1981.
In 1982, he joined the Department of Posts & Telecommunications and trained as a technologist at the School of Telecommunications, Lagos. He later earned a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration from Vara College of Technology. He served with NITEL until 2006 before transitioning to entrepreneurship, founding Kiora Interbiz Limited and its subsidiaries in security and general ventures.
A devoted Catholic, Prince Oyekanmi has held several leadership roles in the Church, including altar server, choir member, church warden, and parish chairman. He currently serves as the Deanery Coordinator of the Catholic Men Organization Nigeria (CMON), Ikorodu Deanery.
He is a member of numerous social clubs including Lagos Lawn Tennis Club 1895, Kelib Aspera De Nigeria, and Realist Club.
Prince Oyekanmi is happily married to Mrs. Rita Oluwaseyi Ibilola Oyekanmi and is blessed with four children and a grandchild. His hobbies include traveling, meeting people, football, tennis, cricket, and music.
